The Asociaciýn Regional Campesina Chortý (Asorech) created legally on 14 of November of 1999, is an association who represents 8 farmer organizations, from 6 municipalities from Chiquimula and 2 from Zacapa, Guatemala. They work with 16,000 poor people of the Chortý Region.

ASORECH linked producers of cabbage, Frenchs beans and coffee, with different enterprises who sell these products to the National and Regional Market. ASORECH also needs a strategic plan, business plan and a plan to develop it in order to make a link between the client and social development in the poor municipalities in Zacapa and Chiquimula.
